| About 10 years ago my brother and his wife introduced us to the Save the Manatee Foundation by giving us a year's subscription to the club. What a wonderful gift! Since then we have continued our contribution. These animals are on the endangered species list. It is unfortunate that the only known enemy of these gentle creatures is MAN!!! - specifically boats. There is much legislation in congress to force cages on the propellers of boat motors. This would save many of these animals. Check out some of our pictures of these gentle giants.
